The Embassy is now seeking a qualified and motivated Administrative Assistant to support its daily operations.
Position: Administrative Assistant
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will assist in the Embassy’s day-to-day administrative and consular operations, including document processing, client service, and official coordination. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily administrative operations of the Embassy.
- Assist with the issuance of visas, passports, and travel documents.
- Perform notarial acts and civil registry duties.
- Provide assistance to Brazilian nationals, including those in custody.
- Organize and monitor meetings, official events, and visits.
- Draft and translate documents in Amharic and English.
- Liaise with both nationals and foreign partners.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Education: Completed secondary education (minimum).
- Experience: 1–3 years in administrative or clerical roles.
- Languages:
- Fluency in Amharic (oral and written).
- Good command of English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows 11 and MS Office applications.
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
- Good organizational and math skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in an international environment.
