Position: Cafeteria Kitchen Steward
The Cafeteria Kitchen Steward ensures smooth kitchen operations through cleanliness, food preparation support, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishware, glassware, and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in line with hygiene standards.
- Assist with food storage and stock rotation.
- Support kitchen staff during food preparation.
- Receive and organize food deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with AMCOM policies and HACCP standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to enhance guest satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- 2–4 years’ experience as a steward in a cafeteria or restaurant.
- Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Certificate or formal training in HACCP.
- Strong physical stamina and multitasking ability.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred.
