Position Overview
Tsehay Bank is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and manage its growing IT network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable network connectivity across the bank’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and network security systems.
- Monitor network performance and address performance or connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support for all network-related issues across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure robust and secure infrastructure.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all network systems and disaster recovery procedures.
- Lead or support networking aspects of IT-related projects and new implementations.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in a Network Engineer role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing enterprise networks using Cisco, Mikrotik, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
- Solid troubleshooting and performance optimization abilities.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
