Internship Overview
UNDP is offering a 6-month internship under its Governance and Rule of Law portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and postgraduate students passionate about governance, peacebuilding, and development work.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree (Master’s or higher) OR
- Recently graduated (within one year) with a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in:
- Governance
- Peace and Security
- Political Science
- Sociology
- Public Policy
- Law
- Human Rights
- Development Studies
- Related Social Sciences
Experience:
- No professional work experience is required.
- Strong interest in local/international governance, peacebuilding, and rule of law is essential.
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong editing, copywriting, and proofreading abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Background in communications or public relations is a plus
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of French is desirable
