Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative tech team. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from system design to deployment—helping to build secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that redefine how people interact with digital finance in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering)
  • Design and implement front-end and back-end architecture
  • Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frameworks (React, etc.)
  • Build secure, scalable APIs and backend systems
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation
  • Deploy applications using cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools
  • Ensure data protection and cybersecurity standards are met

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Python, PHP, Java, Node.js
    • React or other modern frontend frameworks
    • Databases & cloud architecture (especially AWS)
    • Agile development methodologies

Desired Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, Slack
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure & server management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
