Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative tech team. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from system design to deployment—helping to build secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that redefine how people interact with digital finance in Ethiopia.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering)
- Design and implement front-end and back-end architecture
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frameworks (React, etc.)
- Build secure, scalable APIs and backend systems
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Maintain detailed technical documentation
- Deploy applications using cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools
- Ensure data protection and cybersecurity standards are met
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- Strong understanding of:
- Python, PHP, Java, Node.js
- React or other modern frontend frameworks
- Databases & cloud architecture (especially AWS)
- Agile development methodologies
Desired Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, Slack
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure & server management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
